Forward Logic has created an integrated solution delivery process to complement Prince2 with the Stage Gates approach to provide an opportunity for review and endorsement before committing to additional expenditure. The key activities completed by the Forward Logic team:
Forward Logic’s experienced Project manager oversaw the planning, execution, and overall coordination of the successful implementation, collaborating closely with the internal stakeholders and the vendor of the implemented solution while Forward Logic’s business analyst ensured that the system was aligned with the business needs and requirements and facilitated a smooth transition to the new system, which was particularly important given the extensive scope of change in the project.
Forward Logic also had a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with an extensive experience in Finance implementation projects and ERP integration who provided specialised knowledge and insights when it was required.
The Result
The replacement of the two legacy systems with a single solution reduced the manual effort and provided the client with a single source of truth which resulted in a significant improvement in data accuracy. Accurate data has become the foundation for informed decision-making, ensuring that our client can rely on the information for strategic planning.
The effective implementation of change management strategies ensured a swift transition and efficient utilisation of the new solution, resulting in enhanced operational effectiveness and user satisfaction despite the significant changes for end-users and other teams affected by the transition.
